As I understand it, Chris Brown came from a family background where his mother was always being beaten up by the men she was with. In fact, in a lovely twist of irony, Brown was talking about this in an interview only about 18 months ago.
Not that this is any way excuses what the ass-hat did, I was just pointing out how people who domestically abuse their spouses tend to come from backgrounds where domestic abuse was rife. Round and round it goes...
